The National Center to Reframe Aging recognizes organizations that have publicly committed to intentionally changing the way they communicate about aging, invested in education, and taken steps to implement the National Center's evidence-based tools within their organizational communication.

The National Center recognizes three levels of organizational partners:

Age Innovators

Recognizes a groundbreaker and early adopter in the national work to reframe aging.

Together with community, Point32Health Foundation advances equity in aging and supports, advocates, and advances healthier lives for everyone. Our commitment to anti-ageism, includes investments in reframing aging—critical work to dispel misperceptions and ensure an equitable and complete story about aging.

Change Maker

An organization actively engaged with the National Center, educating key leaders on the principles to reframe aging, committing to an annual action plan, and demonstrating impact in the movement to reframe aging.

The mission of the E4 Center is to engage, empower, and educate health care providers and community-based organizations for equity in behavioral health for older adults and their families. The E4 Center achieves this through the provision of education, implementation resources, and technical assistance regarding mental health, substance use, and their intersection with physical health.

The Center for Gerontology at Concordia University Chicago is an applied center that improves the lives of older adults and drives positive change by generating, reframing and disseminating information about growing older. The Center’s strategic priorities include advancing academic and experiential education, fostering community engagement and intergenerational connections, and promoting practices and policies that create a more representative and equitable society, like deconstructing ageism.

Founded in 2010, the Diverse Elders Coalition (DEC) advocates for policies and programs that improve aging in our communities as racially and ethnically diverse people; American Indians and Alaska Natives; and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer (LGBTQ+) people. The DEC is working to strengthen policies and programs to enhance the health and wellbeing of diverse elders, educating and connecting diverse older adults and their loved ones to key policy debates on aging, and increasing public support for issues that affect our communities.

The Maryland Department of Aging through our multi-sector plan for aging,Longevity Ready Maryland, is dedicated to addressing negative and inaccurate stereotypes of older people and advancing a more equitable and complete understanding of the contributions the growing population of older Marylanders provides to our society. Our partnership with theNational Center to Reframe Aging has allowed us to educate communicators, policymakers, advocates, front-line workers, and many others using evidence-based framing strategies to change the way we talk about aging and aging issues so we can make a meaningful difference in the way older people are perceived and positively impact the services we need as we age.

The Minnesota Leadership Council on Aging is a collaboration of 34 non-profit organizations uniting leaders to advance equitable opportunities for all Minnesotans as we age. We work to champion a Minnesota free of ageism by building trusted connections, hosting powerful convenings, and mobilizing our collective networks to advance reframed narratives of aging.

P4A is a statewide association of Area Agencies on Aging, serving as advocates and resources for older Pennsylvanians. P4A is dedicated to reframing the narrative around aging by fostering positive perceptions, sharing experiences, and supporting an age-inclusive Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania Department of Aging provides an array of services and programs to help older adults live and thrive in their homes and communities as they age. The Department is proud to partner with theNational Center to Reframe Aging to reshape the conversation about aging as a positive experience and something that everyone should embrace.

A nationally recognized leader in aging research and education, The University of Minnesota's Center for Healthy Aging & Innovation (CHAI) spearheads the University’s age-friendly initiatives, engaging with community partners to address challenges and co-create solutions. CHAI’s vision is clear: to help build a world where every individual can pursue their life goals while aging.

The West End Home Foundation is dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults through grantmaking, advocacy and community collaboration. We are excited to partner with the National Center to Reframe Aging to train nonprofit and public organizations on the NCRA model so that we can reframe aging in Middle Tennessee.
